I have a 1995 f150 xlt with the 5.0. I changed from 326 gears to 373 gears for better towing. My problem now is my speedo boucnes around. If I am traveling at 65 mph my speedo will bounce between 60 to 70 mph. Anyone know a solution for this? I have had the sensor on the transmission replaced and I still have the same problem.

 

I had this same problem when I first got my truck. The helpful people on this forum pointed me to the VSS but that was not the issue, in fact, a new VSS made it worse. It's probably the wires going to the sensor. Check out the link below to my thread and how I fixed it:
