Default 1995 f150 5.8l

Was looking at a 95 5.8L F150 a few days ago, it's got just over 100,000 km's on it

wondering if anyone could tell me if these engines for the 95 year had any specific problems that were known to happen.

Also what can be done to the engine to give it better performance?

thanks in advance

I don't know of any issues with the motor, but I can tell you that my 95 351 has 217,000 miles on her and runs like a champ!

i'm on my 2nd 351 (first was 95, this ones 94) 95 i sold with 210,000 ran fin only thing i ever had to do for a repair was repace the idle pully. on my bronco, i replaced a broken belt because it got so cold in alaska it broke apart. i hear ignition upgrades do good things along with a free-er exhaust and intake

awesome, thanks guys! I really want this thing so hopefully I can make it happen!

also, can you fit 33's without any suspension or body lifting?
what about 35's with a leveling kit?

33's will BARELY fit. on my 95 F150 i ran 33's and had to notch the bumper back in where you cant see it unless you go under. i imagine you'd need at least a couple inches of lift for 35's. i'm running 32's on my bronco right now but looks like i could go a little bigger..maybe my bronco doesnt sit as low as the trucks idk

If you're gonna go through the hassle of a body lift....why not just throw a 3 inch in there? Clearance depends on how much the springs are sagging...

My 89 Bronco had 33 Buckshots on it and looked killer with a 3 inch bodylift....and I probly coulda cleared 35's or maybe even 36's on her.
