Default 1994 offroad

I have a 1994 f150 xlt 4x4 with a 302 automatic and a 308 gear. I have a 3 inch body lift, pro comp shocks, shorty headers, and 15 x 10 rims ready to go on. Does anyone know where I could find some cheap off road tires for thoughs rims? And any other ideas to make my truck more capable off road? Mud mostly

switch out the gears in the truck for some 4.10s or 3.55s and get narrow tractor tires and rims snorkels help out somewhat too. is this going to be a full on mudder or just a on off roader?

yeah i wouldent re gear then it wouldn't effect it much but the tires would and are not legal to drive on the road. I'm not much of a mudder but you either go all out or just shouldent be bring there daily driver to a mud hole. I use my truck everyday and do take it off road but I never push water or do mud just for the simple fact it gets expensive quick. save up some cash and get a crap L6 f150 and go mudding with that im sure you can find one for 500-700 bucks. if not jack that thing up as high as it can go re gear to 4.10s get some tractor tires, snorkel and make a set of lake pipes for the rig

Re-gear is gunna run you a couple hundred. But if you're running 33s you're going to want at the very least 3.55, but 4.10 would be ideal. Then you still have power. I have 31s and 3.08s and I'm slow as hell, I have a I6, but I'd imagine the same is true for V8

I'm going to stick with 31s even after the swap. I don't plan on lifting my truck anytime soon. if I am going to lift my truck its going to be a baja style long travel supention kit and they are not cheap at all plus there's a front bumper i want to get after the gear swap

I levelled mine so I can fit the 33s. Just want to fill out the wheel wells! But wasn't going to lower to make it happen on 31s
