Put your key in the ignition switch, and turn it on and off about 8 times, not far enough to start the engine, just clicking it on and off. The doors will lock or unlock, kachunk. Push the button on your new remote. The doors should unlock and pushing the other button they will lock, or vice versa. after this process the buttons should work the door locks appropriately. This is a little helter-skelter but I'm sure you will figure it out. I have three vehicles that lock in the drive way with one fob. Sometimes not as convenient as you might think...https://www.f150forum.com/images/smilies/jester.gif

Yea just cycle the ignition from off to run (but don't start the engine) 8 times and the locks will cycle one time and then you're in programming mode. Press the lock button on each remote you wish to program to the truck. Just don't forget the original remote as well.
