Unhappy 1994 frame rust

got some bad news today from a mechanic who was going to replace the front shock towers on my f150 XL full size 4X4 . he called and said the frame is too far gone to do the repair. Now i wish he could have mentioned this before i in vested in a new fuel tank and pump, radiator, and bought new shocks to accompany the new towers. I have had this truck since new and always changed the fluids in the entire drive train as recommended, needless to say it still runs, shifts flawlessly.besides a new clutch some miles back it has held up well other than the frame problem.I can proudly say i have never been stuck in this truck and am heart broken over the news. After thought has creeped in and am wondering how far is too far gone ?the truck is loaded with upkeep parts , such as starter, bushings, and other wear related stuff as well as some stompin brand new 31" rubber all way round. has any one come to this point and had luck with saving an old friend from being parted out ? I am a veteran who is disabled so money is an issue but willing to save her if possible. please provide with any guidance if any of you guys or gals have been in my position. thanks.

i will try and picture both side the left side is the one he started working on, right side is untouched as yet, i was hoping for good results from these guys, i used to race sprint cars and did most vehicle work myself , adding insult to injury someone jumped the fence and stole my full width brush guard and push bumper of the truck out of their storage lot ,was not happy paying the tow fee back to my house.....

Best bet #1 find a salvage yard donor frame and swap. #2 find compatible truck and keep yours as a donor truck.
