Default 1993 speedometer was working, now its not.

Title pretty much says it all. I've pulled my instrument cluster and made sure everything is correct, also I've checked the wires leading from the transmission. Everything seems good except my speedometer not working.. Any one ever have this problem? Note that I've just finished completely rebuilding this truck. Most parts are brand new. Thanks!

By the way, my odometer is not working either. There are numbers there indicating my mileage, but it's stuck in that number. Thanks

Is the odometer on but not gaining miles? Check your vss and wiring. Check fuses too, just in case.

Last post I meant all fuses are good, and the speedometer and odometer still aren't working. Any more ideas?? I'm at a loss here

Towards the rear of the transmission near where the drive shaft connects.
