1993 f 150 302 engine swap going in a 1990 f 150 Help!!
I want to buy a new ATK stock remanufactured 302 engine and transmission from jegs and install to my 1990 f150, my question is if i go with the original motor that is flat tappet camshafts or a newer one like 1993 302 f150 motor that has a roller camshafts, but with the 93 302 engine im afraid it will mess with original speed density and MAP sensor that needs to see a certain amount of vacuum in order for your engine to run properly? Will it be fine with newer motor?

With stock, or nearly stock cam either flat tappet or roller tappet will work without causing the speed density computer runability issues. The factory switched to roller cams, you should too when you have a choice such as this one.
