Default 1990 ecm

Here is my problem.
I have a 1990 F150 XLT Lariat 5.0 auto trans .VIN 1FTDF15N1LNB46697
It will not start .I have checked everting possible but no power to the fuel pump.
Changed the ECM. the original was a E8TF 14A608 AF
The remanufactured one I received has # E9FT 12A650 AR1A
I can not find one with the same # as the original
Dose anyone know if they made on the replaces the original .

Thanks

Obviously, you HAVEN'T checked everything.

Fuel pump power does not come from the EEC, and it doesn't matter which EEC is installed (even if it's for the wrong engine or year) - the FP relay works the same, and any (working) EEC will activate it when the key is turned on. So you should check the inertia switch, which is on the firewall somewhere (possibly under the glove box or near the e-brake pedal). Click this, read its caption, & the NEXT 2:

I think you have a few typos, the EECM part number is 12A650- for all of 1990, so your old one would have this same number.
(did you photo the old EECM?)

E8TF 14A608 AF is the number off the Circuit Board inside the EECM.

Also, your new EECM would be “TF” vice “FT”, so E9TF 12A650 AR1A, and a valid replacement.

Do you have your calibration code? Would look something like; 8-53F-R10 or 9-54J-R10

While you are looking, look for your Build Date/MFG Date, usually on a sticker in the driver side door piller.
