Default 1990 300 i6

I've got myself a 300 I6 and I was thinking of throwing a few things on to her, and I was wondering if anyone had done the ame or has any advie about each item.

Tail lights:

I was thinking of throwing on a set of Spyder Smoked Euro Tail lights, does any one have a set like them? Good idea? Bad Idea?

Exhaust:

I've heard some videos (Mainly from YouTube) showing off the Straight Pipe from the I6 and it seemed alright, I've always been one to fancy the low rumble sound from the exhaust? Is there a better combination that's not relatively Expensive?

Thanks in Advanced!

As for tail lights, the OEM ones are fine, but that's an asthetic choice.
For the exhaust, delete the catalytic converter, and run a 2 3/4 pipe into a Magnaflow, Dynomax, or Flowmaster 50 series muffler, and put a 90 deg. bend out in front of the rear wheel with a slim rectangular tip.
That's what I did on my 93 and it has a nice rumble at idle, and it doesn't sound like a Honda when I get on it.

I'll see if I can post a pic when I get home tonight.

Thanks Man,

I took ownership of the truck today and I have to agree that the OEM ones fit in pretty nicely.

As for the Exhaust, do you have a picture of the tip before the wheel? I've never been one to like those types but I've no knowledge really of how it looks on a truck at this Age.

No sorry not yet.
It's been a crazy weekend so far and it's not over yet.
I'll snap a few in the morning, and get them posted.
I need to ***** it out anyway, now that I've out the new fender, and lights and stuff on it.

i wana see a pic too and im the same boat as you, i dont want it to sound ricy... i was thinking of doing a y pipe with no cats from the headers in to a single 2 1/2 in pipeing in to a flowmaster 50s thats got a 3in inner to a 3in outer and then a downtube dump by the axles. i dont wana do strights pipes to the back of the truck, they sound like ****, even on v8s.

I have the same set up on my 93. And the exhaust system is perfect.
