Default 302/460

Going through the same sorta. 5.0 is dying and have a 460/ c4 rebuilt but on propane and propane accessories lol im going carbed to simplify some of my headaches. But if i had a 6l i would probably keep it and refresh it. Swapping mine for some fun with a bbf and i have the motor just sitting.

I also was wondering how much of a headache it would be to swap a 5.0 for a 7.5. I use it as a mud runner and I think I'm the only stock truck that is left. So I was looking to upgrade to a 5.8 or 7.5. 1989 f150 XLT single cab short box 5.0, 4x4, 5 Speed Manual 3" body lift on 33s"

My 302 is getting tired, and when the time comes I'll replace it with a 351 that has a proper cam and well flowing heads for a truck. If it had a I6, I'd rebuild that puppy with the proper cam and well flowing heads. For a standard F150, that's about the most perfect general purpose truck engine.
