Default 16" rims

I would like to put a set of 16" rims and tire on my 1994 F150. Can any one point me in the right direction to find a set? The newer rims have a different hole pattern. Can the newer rims be redrilled? This is just a work truck so I can't buy custom rims.

I think your best bet is to go with a cheap set of after-market steel wheel, like the white wagon wheels or the black daytona wheels. Like the ones below.

These wheels can be found all over the place on the internet and also may local tire shops will have them in stock.

Otherwise, Dodge Rams have the same bolt pattern (5x5.5). Even the newer ones will fit so you can get 16, 17, or 20 inch wheels if you like. You may be able to find a cheap set on ebay or something.

Hope this helps!

I was thinking of trying this myself...I made the mistake of not (for once) reseaching to see if there was a change on bolt patterns when I got my 95...I have steel rims that are quite rusty...so I looked and found a beautiful set of tires and rims for a 98 for 300.00 with new 16in tires...

wont fit...the 96 and later take a cone lug nut and the 98 and newer (except vans) take a flat washer style lug nut...

I thought about redrilling the rims as they only differ by a small amount and then chamfer the hole to match the the 96 and later lug nut...but I havent...
