Its all good man - we'll make it happen soon. I've been hanging out with this girl with an apartment on the beach just south of there, so I pass by a lot. Do you guys have a 2wd only policy, or is it gonna be cool for me to ride with you? Anyway, let me know if you go again - I'm still down for some dirt. I've only had one or two chances to really test my new mud terrains, they need some more of what they were designed for.

hey man, i was wondering what control arm you have? I am wanting to do the 4wd strut conversion as well on my 2wd. I get my check from school in a few weeks and plan on getting pro comp struts and some AALs. I was looking but couldnt really find one. If you have any suggestions or anything, I have the same exact truck as you. just an 06. But thanks ahead of time man.

Yes. the purpose of the controller, is simply that it is a rheostat or potentiometer. YOU adjust what temp it turns on and turns off. A thermostat probe, whether it's the in the radiator fin or inline with a fitting to a coolant hose, will have a preset value to turn on and off. Most are 195* on and 180* off. Depending on the type it will either be wired to the hot side of the fan(s) or the ground for fan(s). Basically when it's not up to temp, it hold the contacts open. Once it heats up it will close the contacts and complete whatever side of the circuit you're working with. My original setup was with the probe (inline) wired to the switched 12V to my relay. Then wired as normal off of 2 40amp relays.
