ha i'll start a thread once i actually start the build. im still driving my truck now, it's just a big 2wd and im gathering parts so this will take the least amount of time as possible.

thanks man, yeah someone else already wants my lift but the other parts would be fine. you should really consider a sas if you're thinking about converting your truck. all you would have to buy extra is some sort of twin stick transfer case, most twin stick cases are made to be used with 2wd trannys, then all the other parts would be the same as me.
