Default short in radio, windows and windshield wipers

I have an 88 f150 that sometimes the windows, radio, windshield wipers and anti-lock brake light will come on. it seems like when i jiggle the ignition it seems to help. has anyone had this problem before? was wondering what might be the problem.

How does a window come on? I can see how a light, radio and wipers can come on but the windows?

the power windows will quit working while the radio and wipers cut off and the brake light comes on the dash.

I was guessing that. I would check the main dashboard ground first.

I am having the exact same problem with my 87. Did you ever find what/where the issue was?

Ya it was the ignition starter switch, located on the steering column up under dash. I guess over time it comes loose so you just have to tighten it up or you might have to replace it. Only like 16 bucks or so but i would try to tighten it up first. Good luck!
