Default Cruise rewire

I have a lacarra wheel and hub ordered for my 93. Is there a way to rewire cruise control to remote switches? I've thought about using the switches from oem steering wheel but unsure how to mount them. I thought about one on each side of column on lower dash. Anyone got any suggestions?

Here is a diagram for the cruise control switches on the steering wheel. You would need to relocate the wires from the clock spring or mount them on the new steering wheel.

I would look for a blinker rod that has the cruise on it.
