nope no excuses here Sean i will finish the job im researching it and working on it!!! the adapter has the wires cut too short, i want to get the original plugs (seen here http://www.ebay.com/itm/190381573299...84.m1439.l2649 ) and wire them back on to the harness. and ill probably need to get a new adapter (seen here http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ford-Radio-A...a9ec57&vxp=mtr )

some of the wires on the adapter are connected to the harness but the idiot did a shotty job and wires he didne use he chopped off too far back on the adapter plug i cannot get any wires connected to the adapter plug

Why would you need one to remove an aftermarket radio? I don't, only needed it for the factory radio.

Each radio comes with its own style release tool to get it out of the cage.

Hmmmm, mine just slides out? It was a cheaper kenwood though, like $110 or so.

It should have come with one. Look on each side of the radio, under the face if it comes off. There will be a slot on each side the tool slips into.

Ive used my Pioneer removal tools over a few generations and on a couple Kenwoods. Your stereo shouldnt just slide out unless they mangled the cage during install.

I had to replace the factory harness ends on my F150, as they were missing, i got them from onlinecarstereo.com. Use their fit guide. Mine needed Metra 71-1770.
