I think it would look better without the valance. Removed mine and nothing changed but the truck looks better.

I have 31 x 10.50's on the back and 30 x 9.50's on the front...all on 10" rims...I also spray painted the hubcaps a flat black but didn't adequately prep them so over time, the paint has come off. This isn't the best picture but I hope it makes the point. I agree too that filling the wheel well is the first step in "manning up" your truck and that's what I did.
