Default zf5-42 > 95 f150 reg cab shortbed 4.9l

I'm pulling a m5r2 out of my truck to install zf5-42 and can't find a driveshaft long enough. Rough measurement comes too 65 3/4 and current one is 58 5/8. These measurements are from transmission yoke to flange on rearend. I was told that the driveshaft from a reg cab long bed 4.9 e4od with one piece driveshaft will work but can't find proper measurements or junkyard one that isn't bent.

Next question, is it safe to run fixed yokes on both ends of one piece driveshift without carrier bearing split shaft?

It needs a slip section.

You don't need a center support bearing, just a slip section.

If you're having one made take what you have and they will use what they can.
