I agree with Chris.

I've been following the thread but haven't commented because I have no knowledge of how to deal with any of the issues you are facing, but every time I have read an update my first thought is "this guy should head to a junkyard and replace everything with stock components and go from there." It will not cost you very much money, you can sell the fancy drop I-beams and other lowering components you have to get your money back, and you will have a beautiful stock height truck that will ride like a dream.

My $.02.

Hey Chris, thanks for the advice. I hear you guys. I actually don't mind a modest drop looks wise but I need a comfortable ride and would like the occasional ability to haul or tow. I will stretch a string on the bodyline and see how many inches I am up in the back at the wheel but I do not want to go back to the axle flip. I may just need to put the stock I beams in the front. I also think I need to go taller tire in the front to fill the wells a little better up front. The stock wheel/tire I believe was 235/75-15 which is 28.9" tall. The rears on it now are 275/55-17 which are 28.9" but the fronts are 255/50-17 which are only 27" I am thinking to put 255/60-17 on the front which are 29" which will also give a slight lift up front. Am I looking at this right? If the total diameter of the front tire is 2" more then the front will lift by 1" right? Not 2"?

If the tires give me a 2" bump in the front it may be tolerable, but I don't think 1" is gonna go it. If that's the case, stock I beams it is.

If you put the stock overall diameter back on the front, from where it sits now, it will lift it up 1.9 inches. Just measure from the top of where your front tires are now to the highest point of the bottom of the fender to make sure you can clear the extra 1.9 inches.

2" bigger tire = 1" lift

Really, Chris? Just wondering how you got that cuz I always thought it would lift by the amount of tire diameter. Just curious.

Think radius not diameter.

The tire is 2" taller but the truck will only see 1" from the center of the wheel to the ground.

Any chance you'd want to sell any of the lowering components? I'm looking to lower my 93

I also would be interested in the front drop springs and possibly the shocks, if you don't mind letting me know on a price. I've had a pair of drop shackles sitting here for months but don't want to put them on till I find front springs.
