Butyl. ..it's a bit of a 'lossy' process (that's Geek fer 'messy', lol), so ensure you have plenty on hand. If you run out, yer local NAPA sells similar stuff - called 3M Window Weld.

Please Do NOT EVER use RTV !

Looks sweet - ye's gunna have ye sum fun, aight!

Cheers!

RTV won't fully cure and can off gas like silicone and cause fogging and condensation within the headlight casing.

It sure will! The group buy is actually only for kits. Most guys are going with the Mini H1 or D2S, but the Spyder kit will work as well.

The Spyder kit is nothing more then the Mini H1 from my understanding (and maybe I'm not understanding) then I have the options to add in bulbs and ballasts. Am I better off doing the Mini H1 kit? It looks like I'm getting more for the money vs a la carting all the extras needed in the spyder kit. Or does the spyder kit have something extra that I'm not noticing?

I really appreciate your guys' help!

Actually it looks like the Mini H1 Kit comes with a shroud, the Spyder kit reuses Spyder's shroud and comes with a bracket specific for the Spyder enclosure... Everything else the same. Also costs $35 more.
