What can ya'll tell me about towing with 3.31 gears??

I have a 5.0 with 3.31. Towed a TT at 5500lbs. No problem on cruise control. Exiting, I goto manual shift cause I dont like computer shifting too fast. U'll hear the 5.0 roar exiting into the freeway... music to the ears. Cruise at 60mph on the freeway, no problem. I hit 11mpg for a 200mile trip to the state park. 60mph cause IDK what kind of condition the tires are on the TT
