Like to get another pop up, otherwise we just sleep under the camper top in the bed on a air matress, but starting to get older so might end up with a hardwall...

I have a 09 screw 4x4 that I believe has the towing package. We are looking at a popup, not a bullet style.

Would I have any issues pulling any of the original style popups, like a top of the line rockwood or jayco? From what Im reading it sounds like I could use the basic ball hitch and 5000 lb trailers with no problem.

If that is all you are looking to pull put a bar in the reviver and go! You will not need anything else for a pop up. I think that biggest and fanciest you can buy still weighs less than 2000lbs.

My set up in prep for a trip last fall.
Wife is currently looking to upgrade to either a Passport 3050, Flagstaff 831RKSS, Forest River 831BHDS, or Rockwood 2902SS. Aparently all this deployment money is burning a hole in her pocket.

Thanks.

It looks like they are between 1500 and 3100 for the top of the line with a gvwr from 2000-6k. These are obviously general numbers but at what point do I NEED a trailer brake? I would like to put one on just to take some pressure off my truck but Im asking in case I dont get to it right away.

Maybe Im just looking for guys who pull pop ups, what they have, and their experience.
