Of course I have never used a Hensley or a Propride, maybe they would handle it better than my Equalizer due to the difference in physics.

We've towed it a couple hundred miles but have not camped in it yet. As far as handling in the wind (one of the main reasons we switched from a TT) there is no comparison. We had 20mph cross-wind on the way home and it was barely noticeable. Much more relaxing. No porpoising over bumps either.

The only thing I'm disappointed with is that they advertise 5200lb axles in the specs but came with 4400lb. Still plenty of capacity and I think the brakes are also the same size so I guess it's not a big deal.

First use will be late April for a fishing trip.

Sorry for the side-track. Carry on...

Buck50HD, that sucks!! Most of these rigs are right on the line as far as axles go anyway, so downgrading axles without informing the consumer is just plain wrong.

Having dealt with 2 seperate axle issues when on the road I can tell you it is NOT fun.

Luckily swapping out and going large is not much of an issue.

In-laws just took delivery of one. This was taken this afternoon at red rock canyon. We leave in the morning to meet them in Death Valley. Lotsa quality issues with theirs. Check out the Columbus page on Facebook for some info.

Default Try rv.net

They seem to have some good feedback there. I had a 2000 palomino 21", but only for 1 day. On the way home from buying it, a car got t boned, flew right through the back corner, and totaled it. Now I have a 2009 amerilite 21.
