Default OK now with pics of tow hook install on my 4X2

But its my build none the less. I may or may not do some wheels when I need tires but thats yet to be seen

Started with a stock 2011 SCAB 4X2

First thing I added was a lower grill

Then Nerf steps

Then a Hitch

In the next couple days I will be modding the front bumper with holes so I can mount tow hooks on the front. THis is the front now

Ill update with pics of the install

Default It was scary but I think it turned out good

Some of you are probably way more comfortable taking cutting tools to your truck than I am. But for my first time, it looks factory even.

I started out by taping off the war zone

Then drilling holes for the preliminary ugly cut

Next the Roto Zip, but it doesnt cut nice enough

So I decided to make it pretty with a sander

The holes are done

Then bolt up the hooks and clean up

Read a post you made a couple of years ago, replacing the valance on your f 150.
I'm trying the same thing on my 2013 eco boost. How did you remove valance?
The problem I'm having is the valance is hung up under the license plate bracket and the square plastic piece on the other side. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Great write up. I'm gonna do the same thing but I can't find the bolts and don't want to pay $6/bolt from ford. Where did you get your bolts from? or does anyone know the size?
