I love the emblems!!! Where can we get them? I've got a Magnetic (charcoal) that they would look awesome on.

Finally got around to swapping to the lariat sport grill and color matched emblems.

Also got around to trimming the crash bars. I do value my legs so I only trimmed a few inches. Also had to shim the bumpers and removed the air dam.

A little more lift on the rear would make it look more leveled, especially when driving and accelerating. Good call on going 2wd, much easier to lift and you will save some MPG.

Hard part is finding the sweet spot. 5" rear block makes the rear look too tall and the 4" which I have now sags a little. I've ordered new shocks up front to gain another 0.5" so I should be good with the 5" blocks.

In an effort to gain another 1/2" Got a set of the new Eibach Pro-Truck struts. These are setup similar to the Bilstein 5100s that are still not available yet. The perch is adjustable from 0-2" using a snap ring. My plan is to set the perch for 1.5" and use a smaller 1.5" spacer to net 3" plus the additional 4.5" from the spindle.

Really nice looking truck! I am taking delievery of my 16 xlt sport today and want to do this exact lift with mine.

What are your thoughts on a 20x12 -44 with 35s? From what you have said I will have to trim some. Only reason I ask is because I can get a killer deal on these wheels.

Also - how does your truck stand up to a 4x4 model with a 6 inch lift?

Thanks!

Honestly... IF you are going with a -44 and 12" wide wheel, I would suggest the Rough Country lift. With the Maxtrac you are pushing the wheels 3/4" out. They are priced about the same, except you'll have more work to do dropping the crossmember.

If you dont have the stomach to start cutting into a brand new truck... I would highly suggest running a 10" wide wheel. My only other complaint is that the 7/4" is a little nose high. A 4.5" block rear block would probably have the truck dead even.

-trim both crash bars
-remove lower valence
-trim lower bumper plastics
-push in fender liners
-shim the front bumper

I have yet to line up next to a 4x4 with a 6" lift. I can tell you that my truck is slightly taller than the Rough Country 6" 2wd on 35s since me and a buddy did our lifts in the same week. So the 7" lift claim is pretty close.

Just to give you a visual.... This is prior to pushing the the fender flare back and cutting. I still need to trim the bumper more and I've still got rubbing on the bottom corner of the fender.

Thank you for answering all my questions! Looks like I'll shoot for a 20x10 wheel. What offset do you recommend in that spec?

I think the -24mm still have an aggressive look. I think if you do the RC lift you can still run a 20x12 like Andrew did with less cutting. I prefer the wide look and if I did it over again, I would stretch the RC lift out to 8" the price difference in both kits is small. Unless you need the extra ground clearance, might as well go with the RC or superlift.

I would have ran 22x10, but the offsets and lips would not be as aggressive from American Force.
