I've been debating removing the decals also... or getting custom ones made. I do think they break up all the black a little... in a good way.

I've been thinking about getting custom decals made as well...But I've also been thinking about doing a whole "blackout" of the truck! I'm still deciding though

I vote leave the decals. It breaks up the black like eyecandynsx said but it also matches your appearance package emblems pretty damn well.

First of all, to the OP ... very nice truck. Then again, I'm VERY partial to the black FX4's ... I had an 08 black FX4, and now have a 2014 tux black FX4 ... I love 'em!

As for badging/decals ... take off the dealer sticker under the F150 badge on the tailgate, and also remove the FlexFuel badge on the other side of the tailgate ...

but leave the FX4 bed decals ... w/ the appearance package they look good ... some people don't like the decals on the bed at all, but I do. However, since my FX4 doesn't have the appearance package, I had some custom decals made that are monochrome, and they flow with the truck a lot better for me ...

Yeah I think I'm just going to leave them! Also, I removed the dealer sticker just the other day, not really my style is the FlexFuel badge just attached with adhesive or are there tabs that will leave holes in the tailgate?

flex fuel badge is just adhered with double-sided tape. Try to get it as hot as you can to make removal easier ... then use some floss or thin but tough string and get under it and start "cutting" it away from the truck. Once you get it going, pull it away slowly from one side and it should peel off no problem.

Then, just use some rubbing alcohol or goo-gone to get the sticky residue off. That's it.

Would anyone be interested in buying my running boards or wheels? I'm in Colorado. Looking to upgrade wheels soon!

Throw them up on the for sale section and they'll be sold right away. Those appearance package FX wheels are hard to find, I would've bought them myself if you were asking a month ago.
