Does this fix also refer/work to the squeak in the passenger seat while driving? My passenger seat has been doing it since a few months after I bought my truck and I have always wanted to get it fixed.

It normally happens after slight bumps in the road or anything that causes the seat to "jiggle" just a little bit.

Thanks in advance for your time and useful post!

Possibly, both seats have the same issue. I was able to fix mine without removing all the plastic,, just bend it down a little and got a long straight screwdriver in there and made enough space between the metal to stop the squeak.

My seats only squeaked real bad getting in and out of the truck, not to say this isn't the cause of yours while driving. The only way to check is to pry those two pieces of metal apart.

I know what I'm doing this weekend. Yeah, no more sqeaky seat. My driver seat is ok, it's just the passenger seat when no one is in it and I hit bump.
