Local at my track with a 12 gt with bama 93 tune runs 12.14@114....
For less money you could have an f150 in the low 11s... Just saying.

The thread says with a s/c.....look at what some of these trucks running s/c combos cost...probably totatol outlay of 7-8 large.
That in my books is pretty damn close.
Just cause you put a s/c or any other power adder dont mean you have the skills to drive it....just sayin

Yes but the OP is comparing a mustang gt vs a supercharged f150.

Oh Man,
I too traded off my beautiful 2011 Mustang GT to get a 2012 Ecoboost F150.
At the time, the F150 really did make more sense to me, but ever since, I have been missing my Stang.
Still thinking about trading the Ecoboost and getting a 13 GT, prices are good right now with the 14's out and no changes, yet.
I am worried about what will happen when the Mustang goes Global.
Plus I think we are nearing the end of the Red Blooded American V8 and I would love to have one before this happens.
I Like my F150 Ecoboost, but after I traded, I realized that I loved my Mustang GT....

Ok but what stock tune gt does that either? Maybe the OP wants a warranty is why, I don't know. I tell you want, you'll pay more in gas for the truck but much more in insurance for the mustang so that might be a wash.

If the OP wants to be just fast with a warranty then get the GT. If he wants something that can be usefull get the f150. If you want something much less common and much more surprising to on lookers get the truck.

A 12 second truck with a warranty would be nice. Gas wouldn't be a huge concern as it wouldn't be a daily. I got a quote for the F150 and the Mustang GT, it would be about $140 more per 6 months for the GT.

Its a tough decision, I love the '13 GT, it looks amazing and it is pretty quick stock. But the car is "useless" compared to the truck. I can have a truck equally as fast for almost the same price....hmmm...

I'm with you there. I just trade in my 2004 350Z roadster on my new truck. This car was a dream to drive and handled very well. I didnt realize how much my truck feels like driving a boat but I will get use to that soon I hope. I almost went with the new 370Z but obviously more money for the car, higher insurance rate, and super unleaded is required plus I would have to sell my bike if I went that route. Im happy with my truck but I got spoiled on a corner huggin machine.
