The poll results thus far are very interesting in that most are on stock and the spread between the aftermarket units are pretty even. That is very interesting info regarding FR including the charge pipe.

So, at the risk of opening the scope a little, is the charge pipe that "necessary" a mod?

Platinum, your post has been reported and I will ask you publicly NOT to harass me further. Posturing is one thing - what I am capable of is quite another. I strongly recommend you leave well enough alone. Mod's if you would please remove his post, I will edit this information out and/or please delete these comments.

You asked to go there

I like my AFE Charge Pipe a lot.

I "feel" like it made a difference and throttle response. Even running a stock tune I was able to tell the difference.

As for the CAC topic, I voted stock because that is all I have, but will have a new one afterwards. Maybe phrasing it "want to upgrade" or "will not upgrade" in place of "stock" would have helped. The spread between the after CAC's isn't surprising as the performance seems to be pretty close on all of them.

Thanks for that post, Posi. Not dealing with the spring clip almost makes it worth while.

Thanks Greg. Is there a volumetric difference?

I am leaning towards the Wagner.

Thanks again for the responses.

The AFE is larger (I didn't measure but it is easily seen). The pictures don't do well at comparing the size.

Apparently, you are an SSI customer that still has yet to be made whole, by either delivery of goods purchased or refund of payment for purchase. This Thread however, is not the place to address your problem w/ the company. Additionally, I don't believe any member here has any authority to rectify that situation for you.
