Oily Film on top of coolant in reservoir
I'm a little nervous now!!. I was checking fluid levels yesterday and topped of the oil, 3/4 quart(ya the infamous oil consumption). I noticed the coolant was slightly low and took a look inside the reservoir and there was an oily film top of the coolant. My first thought was bad head gasket or crack in the block allowing oil to seep out.
After doing some checking on google I came across a few threads saying that some residue is normal. is that true? Do I need to worry?

Any input would be great. I am just under the bumper to bumper, but don't want the dealer to blow me off since I am so close to the end of the warranty.

Keepin' the lights on!
Since your so close on your warranty, I'd take it in to have ford check it. At least it would be documented. It doesn't sound right to me. Neither does the oil consumption but they say that is normal too.
