Default Ecoboost missing/stumbling under wide open throttle

I finally had the missing/stumbling issue everyone talks about. But mine was at wide open throttle once the truck went over 60 mph.
The details:
Going about 50-55 mph I would floor it, the truck would downshift normally and once I hit 60-65 mph it would miss/stumble very hard. It sounded like it flat out cut spark. It would then do it again at around 75-80 mph.

I replicated the run 3 times with the same result each time.

The truck was at normal operating tempuature
It was also 16 degrees outside
I have not taken it to the dealer for any cac fixes
Truck is a 2011 with 13000 miles
Livernois v2 tune

I would search but every thread on here is 15+ pages of crap and I don't wanna read through all the bs to find out what solution has been found.

I'm going to check my plug gap soon I guess. But it can wait because it is 20 degree in the Midwest right now.

Check your gap, adjust to .030 and try it.

If it still does it, remove the tune and try.

Still, take into dealer to replicate and get a new CAC!

Good luck

Sounds like your blowing out the spark. Like the others have said, re-gap to .030

Just curious, I have this happening on a stock truck with 30k miles. Miss under load(up hills) and heavy acceleration. Since there is no tune blowing out the spark, I'm assuming the plugs could be way out of spec, spark system has weakened, or plugs have gone bad? Going to let the dealer look at it as is before I attempt to do something myself, just want them to drive the truck exactly the way it is so they can figure out the other issues and see what they come up with.Goes in Monday, can't wait to see if they get everything fixed up for me.

Could also be a bad coil(s).

I took my EB into the dealership this morning, as the same thing happened to me last week. They found some cylinder misfires and they are replacing the intercooler as well. Appearantly, it is a common problem, and the parts are on back order. I'm 11th on the list.

Good luck.

It's the gap. If you don't want to change the gap, use ethanol free fuel. I did this for a while until I finally got myself to pull the plugs. I don't have the issues anymore.
