Now lets not forget all the people that are not on the forums, they may have problems too....

Other thing you dont hear about are people that have already had injectors and other such things replaced on the 5.0, which has happened, so lets not forget all these new engine will have some bugs.

I still have faith in the EB as well as the others, with the market being as rough as it is right now, Ford will not take a chance to ruin their share. This is the time for them to blow away all competition, kick em when they are down sort of thing....

Any first year or any year for that matter are going to have a few bugs once they hit the street. Just interested in what GM will do in response to the EB. I had heard from a friend that works at a GM supply factory that they had been working on a small CI v6 with a supercharger for the trucks? This is what GM does they wait to see what the others do then tries to duplicate.

Aint that the truth, a supercharged engine would never match the EB. We all know turbos are more efficient and doesnt put the drag on the engine like a S/C. That would be kind of funny. This is why Ford trucks have been on top for so long.

That may have been true in the past, but my car has a 3L DI V6 with Eaton TVS supercharger and I can get 28 mpg on the highway. FI with DI is what is attracting me to an EB FX4. SCs have come a long way and are not as parasitic as they used to be.

Hey, I've had my EB since feb, first owner in Canada I been told, 20000km of heavy loads and hard pulling and haven't had any wrong. The engine at idle seems like it's anxious to not be idleing but that's it. I'm sure there may be a few issues out there, but not everyone is having them, so I'm still all for this wicked awesome engine. I'm getting below 10l/100km on the hwy now and 13 in the city. That's with the 3.73 axle too. Good luck to those with the misfire!
