I'm probably reviving an old thread but I noticed that truck has filters on the valve cover breathers. I'm running a procharger and for obvious reasons they cap the passenger side off. I don't really like that and was wondering about doing a breather filter or a catch can setup, my question is in the past iv had these filters seep oil out of them, is this a concern on this motor? Or run it to the intake manifold like stock but add an inline check valve to prevent the head from being pressurized under boost.

You don't want to cap the breathers, especially with boost. You will blow out other seals if you do this, the breather are there not just for emissions reasons but to let crankcase pressure out.

Right, procharger has the passenger side capped off and the drivers side routed to the intake. I think ill just put a filter on it. Anyone know a part number for the filter?

i'd do a single valve UPR catch can.. you dont want all that oil spraying out over the exhaust manifold..

Default Cobra Jet intake on 5.0L truck

I have loved the cobra jet on my truck and as far as the breathers go I got some breathers from Jdm that sit higher than ur standard k&n breathers and have about 2,000 miles on them and no oil has spilled over to the coil covers
