I'm familiar with Alaska. Where in Alaska are you?

BTW, what's with the no ecoboost remark?

I'm in the Valley now.

The no EB remark was because you wrote a novel on comparing winters in the lower 48, but had nothing to say how the EB would do there.

Hey, quit saying Montana is the banana belt. Were trying to keep the riprap out. let them think our weather is like Alaska.

You said that you wanted to know how the EB did in "montana/wyoming/canada" and I expressed my view that temperature wise, Montana and Wyoming are like the banana-belt.

Clearly, I wasted my effort.

And since I've only driven my ecoboost in 27°F so far this fall I cannot make a remark about temps. I don't expect any issues.

Actually, I said "places like montana/wyoming/canada..." which should have shown that I was generalizing northern/western states.

And your "icebox" of Minnesota is still a Banana belt comapred to Fairbanks, which has 6 months were the average temp is below freezing.

Fairbanks: The warmest year in Fairbanks was 1981, when the average annual temperature was 32.0 °F (0.0 °C). Record low temperatures below zero have been recorded in every month except June, July, August, and September.

International Falls, sometimes called the "Icebox of the nation", has the coldest average annual temperature of any National Weather Service first-order station in the contiguous United States at 37.4 °F (3.0 °C)
Clearly, your effort was wasted, because it contributed nothing to this discussion...
