Default Alternator failing?

Think I may have a failing alternator. Yesterday at idle it was holding 14.5 volts and today it won't go over 13 at idle. When accelerating it drops to 12.5 roughly. When braking it actually goes up to 14.5 briefly but when I stop it goes right back down to 13. Recently swapped factory battery for an XS Power D6500. Any thoughts?

Not sure if this is the case with you but the alt is pcm controlled....the voltage will fluctuate depending on temp, load etc.

I ended up buying a new alt for my current '07, thinking it had a faulty voltage regulator before realizing this.
