3.55 or 3.73 gear?
#21
Just traded in my 12 ecoboost fx4 3.73 gear for a 13 fx4 eb 3.55 gear and couldnt be happier. (Tranny probs was reason for trade)
If you are keeping stock tires definitly go with the 3.55 the curising RPM's are perfect. My 373 truck always felt like a is buzzing at 80mph cruise. The 3.55's are just right.
The daily driving shifts seem to be more spaced apart getting rid of the stumble through the gears effect that i had with my 3.73 truck.
WOT and towing i cannot tell the difference. So far mileage is slighty better with my 3.55. Im at 17.2 with never reseting the meter. 2500miles currenty on the clock. Mixed city/highway and towing.

You guys confirmed what I was thinking. I'm going with the 3.55 gears. I found the prefect truck in Dallas. FX4 with equipment group 402A, Moonroof, Nav and 20" wheels for $40,250. Seems to be the best deal I can find so far.
