Looks like a 2012 to me. I see leather interior with no manual lumbar, ( so obviously it has the lux. Package) 6 bar grille ( kinda sorta see it through the flames ), and no HID's, so I'd agree with you and say this isn't a 2014, but it still made me cry a little watching a pretty truck like that go up in flames.

The older vehicles used to use shock absorbers, but I believe the newer ones have an explosive charge. Shocks blew too. I'm surprised just how long the tire held on though. Usually these just go with a slight hiss. There was some significant energy from under the hood, but I was amazed that even after the windshield failed, the fire never moved into the cab.
