HELP!!!!!
Yes, I think you have.

I have never gotten answers about my issue with the transmission, aftermarket accessories, or ford motorcraft parts/accessories.

There was a TSB for the exact issue I was experiencing with my transmission. I took our 2013 back to the dealer I bought it from (brand-new in 09/2013) and they balked at performing the TSB work, then reluctantly agreed. The issue improved mildly for a while but now is back with a vengeance. They tried to say that the truck taking 5-10 seconds to change gear from reverse to drive was "normal". They claimed to have test driven my truck but the odometer had not changed at all. They also claimed there was no way for them to check the transmission fluid.

One of the ford reps on this board got involved but then suddenly disappeared after the TSB work on the transmission was done, even though the issue was not resolved.

Reps from ford motor company gave non-committal responses advising I should take the truck back to the dealer who in turn was saying there was nothing they could do.

A different dealer is perplexed but claims they weren't sure if they had recreated the issue or not and thus did not know how to go about diagnosing it.

I got no help and no answers from 3 dealers, the ford reps on a website, ford motors, customer service reps, etc. when asking how I could install a two way radio in the truck without voiding the warranty. Every one of them told me that no dealer would install a cb, motorola, or ham radio and that as soon as one is installed the warranty is void. This is the number one work truck in America? A truck that the owner is not allowed to install a two way radio???

When I posted that up on Ford's facebook page two dealers immediately responded with a whole NEW story claiming they were looking into it and would be in touch with me shortly.... never heard back from either of them and now I can't find the post on fb. When I contacted the two dealers and asked, they gave me the same song and dance about automatically voiding the warranty that they had given me before. Seems like they were just trying to spin some damage control on facebook.

As of today, 06-04-2015, our 2013 F-150 STX 4x4 has only 9,600 miles on it - BECAUSE OF THESE ISSUES. We paid for a driveway ornament.

I've documented all of this and am looking at producing a video so that people have an idea of how ford is going to treat them once they have their money and their truck starts having issues. Better to have a working truck than an expensive driveway ornament!

DOCUMENT everything. Absolutely everything.

Has anyone figured this issue out or gotten any answers yet? I've got a 14 FX4 with the same issue at 10K miles. Been to two dealers and both claim to not be able to hear anything. My wife can hear the noise so I know I'm not crazy. Please help!

I have a 2014 F150 5.0 4x4 STX I purchased new in 2015. The day after I bought the truck I drove my friend about five hours away and we both heard the same noise you are speaking of the entire trip. I took the truck to the dealer and like everyone else says they said they couldn't hear the tick. I also asked them to look over the alignment as the outside edge of both front tires were cutting.. They said there was no evidence of an alignment issue. Had my friend put it on a machine at a private shop and it was in fact out of alignment. Had to pay 80 bucks for an alignment on my brand new truck!

Has this issue been diagnosed and or fixed? Not sure why this thread just ends but it makes me nervous.
