62k miles. Cel Code P012D.

Turbo inlet absolute pressure sensor. (SCIAP)

Anyone had to change one or have any ideas. Im sure theres more than 1 sensor per turbo...

Heres a pic of the code readout from Autozone...

Hey Todd it looks like you may need a new MAP sensor buddy.

The sensors can get covered in oil. May just need to be cleaned.

I took it to Dave Sinclair Ford the following morning, as I made a appt. since it was near closing time. The orange engine light wasn on steady below the spedometer, that next morning on the way there.

I told the service manager what happened, he went out to check or pull any code he could. He came back and got me, showing the light had now gone off and since hasnt come back on. He stated he thought it may have just been some bad gas possibly, but admitted he wasnt positive. He told me to bring it in next time, and leave it running-as he cant pull a code if the light isnt on!

So Im hoping it was as he thought, possibly being bad gas...

Tony, or anyone else... Do you know where the MAP sensor is located? Maybe I can check to see if the connector is possibly loose or corroded!

The MAP sensor is on top of the intake under your engine cover, I'm sure you can clean it then worry about replacing it.

Ill checkout Wallyworld, as I have 2 cans of that same brand silicone lubricant, and white lithium grease I bought there!

If not less than 35.00, I can buy a new sensor & replace it myself! I rember seeing that it oddly only has one small bolt holding it in when doing my Spark Plugs... shouldnt take more than 15 mins to replace.
