This is what I ended up with too - I haven't noticed any degraded performance, but I mainly listen to Sirius/Bluetooth audio

Cravenspeed stubby here, I think it looks great and reception is about 99 percent of the time the same as stock.

I would say if u don't listen to radio much stubby. But if u do stick with or just cut factory antenna. I've had mine for couple weeks and getting rid of it because of lost signal. Plus u can't scan and pick up a new station in new areas.

Got one of those as well and I thought I would lose this 1 particularly weak station I listen to but nope, it pulls it in just fine, all the other regular stations come in just as good.

So I recieved my 6" AMI big stick stubbie after reading tons of positive reviews. Thing looks like a dick on my hood. At least my wife has a new seat when I take her out!

Another vote for cravenspeed stubby. Have owned one on my last 2 trucks with no issue. Had the first one for about 3+ years and now on the H.D.
