Muffler swap for 2.7 f150?
Hey people, I just got my new f150 with a 2.7 twin... I love it however I want it to sound a little better. A slightly louder and deeper rumble... I'd rather not put an entire exhaust system on... Just a new muffler... Anyone have experience with this before? Also looking for suggestions on what company and muffler to go with. Thanks.

Most of our cat-back exhausts for the 2.7L run 5" x 8" mufflers, which you find listed individually right here. If you're looking for slight gains in volume and a deeper tone, those are pretty much our calling cards. Generally speaking, if you are looking at two mufflers of the same height and width (two 5" x 8", for example), the one with the shorter muffler body will be louder.
