just wondering what everyone is using on they're F150. Timbrem spring assist of the firestone air bags? I pull a 8.5x16 v nose enclosed trailer and it squats this thing pretty good just want to level it out a bit to help not destroy the poor truck.

A weight distribution hitch is needed. A properly adjusted WDH will get rid of all the sag. I personally use Timbrens as a added precaution.

problem is I will only be hooked up maybe 10-12 times a yr so distribution hook up is expensive end of the spectrum and I'm not moving far maybe 400mi at a crack

A 8.5 by 16 foot is about 2000 lbs empty. What are you putting inside? You know your are supposed to use a WDH if the tongue weight is above 500lbs.

A WDH is almost as much as air bags or Timbrens.

Just picked up the Blue Ox (smokey recommended it). It works great so far.
