So the colors for this connector, the one next to the OBD II port, are: red, lime green, blue, black, and white.





This picture shows the black and white side that you can't quite see in the other picture.





I know it's hard to see the male pins. I don't have a better camera. But, they're just five pins coming out from where the wires are.

This connector is the one near the OBD II port.

Just making sure, this is the right part? You wouldn't happen to know a way to test this part?

The start circuit provides 12v to the tan/rd wire on the solenoid. This closes the solenoid allowing 12v to the starter. You could jump 12v+ to the terminal the tan/rd wire connects to to see if it closes.

that is the correct part. are you still having to jump it with the screwdriver after replacing it? does it click at all?

Your missing your chassis to engine ground.

Also that other connector is a trailer brake harness connector. I believe Carcrazy had already mentioned that to yuh. (?)

Also the black 90 degree plug with the red wire to the right of the solenoid plugs up at the threaded copper piece. It just pushes on.

This my be a better diagram. The unknown plug could be for the programable speedometer/odometer.
