Agreed, I loved XP pro, and still have a great computer sitting with that on it that I use for my house monitoring and such. I have my camera system (Revo) working through XP. Much better system. I like 7 as the second best. So far, I have not much good to say about 10.

Ok, I said I would post some pics of my blue trucks front seats. Here they are. I told you they were almost perfect and they are original from 98. Time to clean the carpets, lol.

I got a stroke of luck today. A guy called and said he had a 99 Expy that was wrecked and had leather seats. I went over, found them to be Eddie Bauer's with a long console, all for $100. The drivers seat has a minimal tear on the side, but it quite fixable. Time to bring out the leather repair kit. lol.

They are the camel leather, but I'm still going to go with them. I wish they had been the gray version, but beggars can't be choosers' all the time. I'll post pics of them tomorrow when I pick them up.

Has anyone ever seen a regular cab with overhead console? If so, how does it look in comparison to the SCab's SCrews or such? He said I could take it if I wanted it, and am considering it. Why not, if it comes with the seats if I want it. I'm thinking about pulling the digital AC controller in case someone might need it. I pulled the GEM today for S&Grins.

My Buddy Dustin added one to his 2000. Here's the only pics I found in his thread of it.

Actually.... that bottom pic is with it still in the Expedition... sorry. I can see the vent on the roof. Plus he used a different version.

I went and fixed it, lol.

I like that. I guess I'd better grab it while I'm at it. I can always dispose of it later if I don't use it or it's defective (broken). Thank you White89

My 10's fly, more pep than 7, I kept both for curiosity. If 10's slower after an upgrade, it's almost always card drivers. New drivers should be there by now I expect. Microsoft is really sneaky this time as far as your privacy, plenty of background noise to shut down.

Ticks me off I'm stuck w/Vista on a Dell LT (06). I could run a betaH2 but screw it, I lost interest after work around #13 lol.

I picked up the seats and console yesterday. The console was in a bunch of pieces, of course. He took it apart one piece at a time, rather than pull the few 9/32 screws. It did make it easy to clean though. lol

The seats arm rests have some cracks I missed when I first looked at them. I'll fix them today. I have a repair kit for this kind of stuff, and hope it turns out like it did when I repaired other seats. Good day to do it considering that it's finally been raining here, after 2 weeks of very warm sunny skies.

I'll post some pictures up tonight. Enjoy the warm weather we sent to the lower 48 states. Our pleasure. lol

I was going to put it in yesterday, but we finally got some rain. Still raining today, so it looks like it will be Saturday before that happens. We've got a few days of rain in the forecast. We needed it. It will keep the forest fires down a bit. We had one right outside Anchorage just this week.

I'm going to clean up the seats today and get any repairs done, before installing them. It won't take long when I'm ready, since the original seat was just changed out. I will have to mount the console brackets but that will only take so long. The right seat needs two holes drilled to accept the bucket for that side, but again a simple drill and set them in with the impact gun. All in all, I don't see much of a problem with the install, but more with getting them the way I want them. lol The console cleaned up so nice, so I'm hoping the seats will too.
