I'm wanting to switch my front bench seat for a captain seat with a center console. How much can I sell my bench seat for its in great condition. And do the holes line up for the captain chair and for the center console?

Think about doing the the same thing when I put it back together. I have the super cab, the holes are there w/rubber plug, but not threaded.

My 97 had a bench seat originally that I swapped out for captain chairs and a console. It was a easy swap, all the holes were there and lined up perfectly . I guess it might be different for your supercrew, but I doubt it. I'm pretty sure all cabs come pre drilled from the factory and they do interior based off of options after that.

I replaced the 60 side of my 60/40 with a bucket seat from my local junkyard. Got a seat, an entire floor-mount console, a headlight switch and a lug wrench for $40. The plugs just pop out and the bolts thread right in- It felt like the inserts in the holes were already threaded, or the bolts are self-tapping. I painted the console with SEM color-coat to match my dash and it looks great! plus, I've now got a handy spot to stash my pistol under the cupholder in the console....

What console did you go with? Expy or regular. Can you post some pics?

Yea none of mine with the rubber plugs are threaded. You had me check them twice now lol. The cabs gutted right now. Anyway, it's easy enough to thread. They have the spot welded bungs under the cab, so yea, just have to thread them.

I switch my plain bench seat for a split bench seat and after a month
I ended up giving away the old seat

I'll try to remember to snap a couple pics tomorrow. I've got too many projects right now....or so my wife says.
