So I went to a different Walmart today...and I found the kit...although it says to be careful with the radios that have the "code protector" and when I put it back in I have to have that code otherwise it might not play. still take it out? or do I have a code?

I have the tool to pull it out, when I tried to the little trim piece thats tan and goes across between the radio and A/c controls seems to be in the way of me being able to pull it out.

Anybody know if I need to remove the dash cover thingy then easily remove the radio?

you need to take the cover off... it just pops off... start on one side and just pop it off...
