I found a nice set of Lariat seats, but of course the are power seats, and I have manual seats. Can I swap out the bases and make the new leather seats manual, or do I have to wire them in? Also how hard is it to wire them in? Are there any write ups?

Yea it's just 12V, so you could run power from the battery. That's how they are factory...12V Green Hot Black ground.

If your going from bucket to bucket then you can swap the bases. But like jbrew said, its just 12v and ground and your good to go.

On my 99 xl super cab the green hot wire is in the passenger side kick panel. And the fuse and relay was installed in the fuse box under the hood.
