Alright so recently the low oil pressure light came on in my 97 f150 this is the 2nd time this has happened and I'm pretty worried. What doesn't make sense is when the light comes on the oil pressure guage still says my oil pressure is fine and my oil its self is full. The truck is running fine still I'm just unsure of the problem if someone could help me out I would appreciate it thanks- zach.

 

Sounds like the sending unit, if you really had low oil pressure you engine would sound like a blender full of hammers, lol.

 

Alright that makes me feel a little better are there any other sensors for the oil or things I could replace to help the oil flow better besides the sending unit thanks for the help- zach
