Regear for the 38's that it should be running(1500-2000$)
The 38's themselves($2500).

People have completely gotten away from your standard 6inch lift with 35's. Out here it's what suspension/tire/wheel combo you can put together to be different. To each there own

December 2009 TOTM!
OP. Crank your torsion bars level, slap on 33s and see what you think.. don't go dropping money on anything else until you do that. 33s look small on a leveled truck in my opinion. I have 35s on my truck leveled in the front and still wish I could stuff a 37.
Suspension vs Body lift... susp will give you added clearance under the frame, you still have the front dropmount bracket and torsion key dropmount but you still have alot more clearance under the frame than you would with a body lift. Also with a body lift it gives more open space to getting debris into your engine bay UNLESS you put bigger gap guards in the wheel wells. I vote susp all day long, no body lift. I would say body lift is last resort to get more lift after a susp lift. I've hit frame before offroading stock height, why would I want to put a 3" body lift on my truck to "lift" my body up 3" off the ground and still hit frame? No sense in that. Might keep a rock from smashing my body but still going to hit my frame, a susp lift will keep that rock from smashing my body and NOT hit my frame. To each their own I guess... depends on if you offroad like some, or just a pavement pounder.
03FX4604.... WTF is that. That is hidious... Cali lean, bull *******, prerunner style.. that's all fine and dandy but to lift your truck 12" and run 33s when they can run 35s stock is absolutely the dumbest thing I have ever seen.. Looks like alot of the "lowrider" vehicals out in AZ.. where they run a 14" wheel on cars and trucks to get it low to the ground and they stick 5" out on each side..

Hahahahaha I love all these reactions about the central cal trucks lol, its defiantely not for everyone its just whats big, i dont know what started it or when. There really isnt a whole lot of point, but for some reson they like it out here.If you come out here with a stuffed truck people would say the same thing lol.
TO EACH THERE OWN
