I couldnt tell from the pic. If it has 20 bolts holding the pan on its a 4r100 or e40d. If it has 14 its the 4r70. If you have the 5speed its neither.
You can also tell by the tail shaft housings.
You can also tell by how the tranny crossmember is positioned. Contrary to what most people assume: With the bolts in the location pictured (set of holes closer to the front), it is set up to hold the 4R100. The cross-members are the same, only they are rotated. This picture is on the passengers side: front of the truck is to the right.
If I had the 4R70 in the truck, the set of bolts would be on the two holes a couple inches back. The orientation of the crossmember changes the length.

So [MENTION=99584]ibd2328[/MENTION] [MENTION=19263]charliedyal[/MENTION] this means that I have the e40OD since my trucks a 97? And I'm guessing they switched from the e4OD to the 4r100 after 98?
Both pics are on passenger side, front of the truck is to the right. I took 2 pics and accidentally uploaded both even though they're of the same thing.
